What I don't like now is it's easy to accidentally swipe and delete a code if not paying attention which could be a disaster, is there an option to stop the swipe other than a warning after the event? Atleast if I delete from Microsoft Authenticator it won't instantly remove from all devices.

B&Q's website.

All the items I want are marked "not available in store" and "not available for click and collect" and finally "free postage".

So I enter my address and try to order. I get to payment, and it says, "Lost connection; your order might not have been placed".

It's the same result trying to order them individually or all together, and both Paypal and Credit card.

I phoned them and was told "the items might be out of stock..."

B&Q never have what I go for - even after checking it's in stock and which aisle it's in. They do have shelves full of stuff I don't want though, which I guess saves me money :erm:

Oak furniture land did this to us this week. We went up to the local branch to look at a dresser after the website checked and said it was there. When we arrived it was the only item of furniture in that range that they *don’t* display.
Snazzar frazzar.

On the plus side, we got a family load of dinner out of costa coffee for £3.50 while we were there with one of those apps that tell you who’s selling off mystery bags of food at 6pm. :D

Pruritus.... Torturous and so knackering. I'm starting to look like I've been dragged through a thorny bush. And energy levels have dropped through the floor on top of everything else.

Prior to covid, I had a confirmed order for timber and wood sheeting. It didn't turn up due to "stocking issues". Another date was set. That didn't turn up either due to the same reason.

6 missed deliveries later, I went to their local store and saw loads of stock of what I had ordered. I tried to order it for home delivery but was told "All that lot is for trade sales only, mate."

No chance of getting it all during the pandemic, and after it all settled down, the prices were around 40% higher and still haven't dropped. I fully expect the war in the Middle East to jack the prices even higher.

Brother (printer) website errors loading up downloads. I'm trying to install a new printer but I can't and have not been able to for a week now.

The printer itself can find and install new firmware though.

Can't see any downloads, it gives an error.

I never bothered updating my laser Brother firmware because I could never get it to install. If it works I'd just leave it alone.
