The thing is actual votes aren’t turning up in that manner.

This is based on a published database updating - without knowing the full detail of what got updated when - it’s entirely possible within their processes of segregating and counting ballots that numbers for an individual candidate could update but not others.

Incidentally if you want to see Trump's absolutely raving mad press conference from last night, it's here - wind forward to 16 minutes (although the CBS news desk gets bored with it 7 minutes later and cuts back to the studio where they commence fact-checking):

CBS seems to have disabled embedding. Here's the full link, it works on the Youtube website: https://youtu.be/17EOwbctx5w

Who thought there could be so much amusement to be gained over a US President election? I was deeply bored last night but this morning there is comedy gold everywhere.

I think CNN are getting ready to project this thing in the next few hours.

Wolf Blitzer on from the get go this morning.

But yes if this next tranche of Pennsylvania votes goes heavily Biden and puts him tens of thousands in front and say Trump needs 60%+ of those outstanding at that point I think they’ll say there’s no evidence to say that he will and call it.

If Biden wins then convention says they can start phoning world leaders at the permission of the sitting President. I can see Trump telling world leaders not to accept those calls or risk his wrath.

This has never happened - you are talking round things.

What has happened is that mail-in ballots from very strong Democratic-leaning areas are coming in, and they are between 60% and 80% for Biden - these people opted for mail-in ballots because of all the hints of polling site intimidation* put about by right wing media.

*by all those morons with guns you mentioned earlier.

It wasn't my opinion it was the trump campaign's opinion.

Exactly. When I saw that sad, repetitive rant from Trump last night, I thought no one in the UK would believe what the old man was saying. My bad.

Fortunately, he'll now have opportunities for earlier nights in the future and can spend some quality time with his family. :)

whether the next president is chosen via vote rigging or a supreme court decision,i think the office is damaged for the foreseeable future.

I fail to see how Biden winning at a canter (if he gets to 306) damages the office.

Sadly, the damaged goods will be Trump as his party turns on him. I hope he has a dignified exit.
