I've never had my windows cleaned from the outside. The weekend just gone by I cleaned the inside and saw the outside could do with a clean.

Why is it so difficult to find somebody who'll clean windows. Virtually everyone on Google maps is busy or no longer offer their services. Checkatrade yielded one positive response all booked in for Wednesday but I must have called 10-20 with no joy. Terrible :(

Funny you say that. I just got a few callbacks from earlier calls that weren't answered. One guy quoted £20 :shocked: I thought £5 a window would be the reasonable cost for frames and glass but this one guy wants to do it virtually free :shrug: a tip goes without saying permitted the windows are given a good clean. Also that quote was a one off, scheduled cleans would be even cheaper :nutter:

We have a guy comes and does all our windows (except the conservatory) once a month, for £13.
It was a tenner when we first started using them. Paid by direct debit so no cash needed for payment.

Ours is £15 per month by bank transfer (and that’s for a 4-bed detached) - they use their own water from a van, with extending poles for the upstairs windows.

Almost the same here, £14 a month (only 3 bed detached) using a van with integral water tank and . . specially filtered water apparently.

Years ago it was a chap carrying a ladder, bucket, and mop . . on his pushbike :D

My Google pixel 6 pro keeps dropping incoming calls. I have to eject the SIM then reinsert it. It then works for some weeks then reoccurs. Anybody able to advise please, or do I need a new device?

Have you tried it with an e-sim to see if that helps?

Nope. I like to use physical sims.

I just tried Google support. They estimated a repair at £389 :LOL:

Ok. I replaced my physical SIM with a esim. Sadly the QR code doesn't want to show in Gmail on my main daily driver :( so I have to manually input the activation code. Hopefully this sorts the issue.

Google pixel feature, wallpaper and style, after choosing a wallpaper choose effects..

my device gets soo hot after setting a effect, I chose weather and 3d for each screen. I've gone back to bare wallpapers and the devices have cooled significantly! :no:

The soft chocolate chip cookies I used to love finally got changed over by the new idiots that merged with freihophers..

IT STILL SAYS "ORIGINAL RECIPE" on the new boxs but THEY HAVE XANTHAM GUM and the original did not!!


That garbage shouldnt be in food we eat. Its caused me alot of problems!!

I left the company an email telling them what I think!!

That merger happened around 2008/2009. So if there was any changed you are probably very late to the party.

Well for awhile they were still making the orginal Freihopher Chocolate Chip Cookies (Original) and they didnt have that crap in it..

No need for a thicking agent,it makes it taste worse!!

Nesquik Chocolate Milk Powder used to have carreegen in it and thankfully they removed it and its delicious!
