As this is Amazon's first 'toe in the water' shot at the Premiere League, it makes perfect sense for them to tap into the proven expertise that is currently available. So it doesn't prove anything about the future, other than the fact that new players are able to utilise existing resources to ensure that their virgin broadcasts are up to the quality demanded.

Not officially announced yet but Sky TV Customers with the full Sky Sports package can look forward to the BT Sport channels for free from mid July.

They must have entered into a wholesale agreement, the same as Virgin did with BT.
