Ichnusa Anima Sardi - a Sardinian Lager.
One of our neighbours is a cheese maker, and he comes from Sardinia - I help him out occasionally when he has IT "issues", so he kindly gave me (as a thank you gift, as I don’t charge him for help) a bunch of his cheeses, some crackers and chutneys, and a couple of bottles of this lager. Very smooth. |

My dad has Whisky Rocks, you stick them in the freezer, and they chill your drink without diluting it, after you rince then dry, then put back in the freezer. (I’m a single malt / cognac drinker, and I keep a bottle of Sainsbury’s own-brand speyside single malt for anyone who wants a mixer, but I want people to enjoy what they have, not belittle them for it). Re: The what are you drinking now thread
Aldi's single malts have been rated quite highly, certainly the Speyside version has. Their Highland Black blend isn't bad either. No they aren't quite up to some of the branded single malts but at about half the price they increase your options to offer.
And single malt Irish Whiskeys are pretty good, Bushmills for example. Can't see why people want to chill whisky but water can release some of the flavours in the drink but you need to get the right amount of water to spirit, some it's just a few drops, some I put in 2 whisky to 1 water. Others are best used to sterilise surgical equipment. |
Re: The what are you drinking now thread
Iced or cold single malt? No thanks, that's just so wrong.
