Keep in mind its USB powered but comes with a USB cable. My power sockets have a USB port and was within range of the shelf I stuck it to upside down. They give you a mounting bracket and some screws in case you want to do that but I just used some gorilla tape to stick the bracket to the underneath of the shelf but it will sit on anything ok too.

It arrived a week ago, but due to a family emergency, haven’t had time to play with it.

Things have calmed down, so set it up today, and linked it to our Sony TV remote and Alexa (only for on/off and mute/unmute (which works on the soundbar/woofer as well)) - works fine, but had to move it out of the TV cabinet all the other kit is in, as the glass seemed to stop the signal.

Very happy with it, so thank you, once again.

Google Pixel 6 on O2 £21 per month unlimited texts calls and 20GB data. Set a 0 charge cap. 24 month contract total £504 (only like £30 more than you can buy the phone)
I was paying VM £6 per month so factor that in makes it £15 per month for the phone so brings the phone price down to £360 £35 TopCashback so £325 for the phone. Nice

My experience of doorstep milk deliveries was not a good one. The milk was there when I got up but one night I checked my doorbell cam and low and behold they were delivering it at a little past midnight. This was fine in the winter but in summer months the sun was on it for 3 for 4 hours before I would have got up so decided it was a bad idea

Over the past 10 years I’ve suffered with what I refer to as my ‘dark clouds’. I’m not inclined to ask my GP if it could be depression as my have my own way to deal with it - the gym.

Anyway one of the symptoms is usually me spending silly money on something I don’t really need. But this time it was different.

Was always a huge fan of House MD and every now and then I through the entire series again.

Last time I went though it I noticed the ep where he’s riding a motorcycle and really liked the leather biker jacket he was wearing. And I decided I had to have it but figured this is a show from almost 10 years ago so there no way I was going to find it anywhere, at least not a decent enough look-a-like.

Well balls to that, one quick look on eBay and I found and exact replica, genuine leather. And yep I bought the jacket. And I love it.

gourmia 6.7l digital air fryer from Costco. Daughters partner works there and let me set up an account with his details and address so I can use. £54.99 for a fairly large Air Fryer can't be bad. Reviews well. I have the 8L Salter XXL so this Costco one will be a second so I do not have to serial cook.

The way I look at it a lot of people like the 2 drawer models but these have smaller baskets and still have 2 1700watt elements ( some have 1500) so running 2 larger fryers will nto cost any more than running 2 drawer models

Well I got my rice cooker. Very nice but on cooking a preuse batch of rice I spotted some damage to the inside surface of the cooking bowl and Amazon don't do replacement for this item. So I'd need to return and re-purchase.

Looking at the item on Amazon the vendor was the same as the manufacturer so I contacted them and they are sending out a new bowl plus said it was safe to use the current one. Brilliant service from Yum Asia.

I hope you find a point that suits. I got a blink outdoor camera and floodlight a while ago. Set sensitivity to 6 and you’ll just get to see whatever went past as it walks out of the frame. Set to 7 and so much as the sun having a cloud go past which makes it a smidge dimmer sets it off, leaving you with several recordings of absolutely nothing. It’s was awful. I’m replacing all cameras with UniFi Protect now, which soooooo much better. Better quality, better image, better settings and better ecosystem in the UniFi family

We've got Ring doorbell and alarm and cameras that all work very well together. Cloud storage is £80 per year but you can store all recordings for 180 days so not too much of an issue with recording birds landing in the garden. We've also got Ring cameras in the house but they are linked to the alarm so only activate when the alarm is set.

We did turn off the motion alerts as they are a bit of a pain. A nice feature is the echo dots round the house bleep when a window is opened or closed and announces when a door is opened or closed.

We also have a 4K Swann CCTV 4 camera system and a POE camara at the back of the garage that is a test of sending video via power line adapters (which works very well).

Not eligible as used one before unfortunately.

I have used the 3 £15 off Morrisons on Amazon shopping over the last 3 weeks even though I had used a voucher before though which was great. Saved about 8 or 9 quid per shop when you factor in the inflated prices

It'll be fine. Laminate floor is brilliant stuff once you've got the knack of clipping it together. All your dodgy cuts will be hidden out of sight ;)

Unfortunately Snoopz in my case no, I tried writing names and addresses of people I intended to send Christmas cards to, on a word app I had, with the intension of transferring it onto self adhesive labels but the result was less than satisfactory. What I intend to do, if I wish to send cards again to my friends and family is to type their details directly on to the labels and then photocopy several sheets for future use. It takes me all day just to write their names. Unless someone else on here has other suggestions

It takes me all day just to write their names. Unless someone else on here has other suggestions

I'm no expert but others will be, I think your problem is you're not selecting the correct template for printing address labels and when you use the correct software it'll be a 1000 times easier than going back to the dark ages type writer and your hands will thank you for it.

The address label sheet will be of a certain format ie Avery L7163

here is how you do it in word. I imagine with some playing you will be able to create a full sheet with different addresses on but this only shows you full sheet or single label

There are a load of blank templates for word here https://www.herma.co.uk/office-home/...ates-for-word/

Maybe a label printer would be an option. Plugs in straight to your computer via USB cable and with the included software will let you print directly to the sticky labels.
Something like this:

It did not cost you much and you can use it now while you practice in Word or similar

Re: What have you just bought?

The garage normally does the MOT test first, then gave me the option to have the service or other work done.

But, due to a hold-up with the MOT test, they did the service first.

And my car failed the test, with no chance of repairs until late January.

So instead of a bill for £54.85, I got one for £153! And no car for several weeks!

Warrior Pump non-stim pre-workout.

Alleged "bubble gum" flavour but tastes like a failed year 8 chemistry class experiment. Works really well though, the pump lasts for hours afterwards.

Ladies pyjamas, unfortunately top is fine but trousers don't fit, so goes in the charity shop bundle (more trouble than it is worth to send it back).
