Are you downloading it onto a disc formated "FAT"? If so, it will stop at 2GB. That is the file size limit for FAT.

Stuart, re your edit, it's not pirated if we have the official keys and activation codes and just need the file. MS should get their d/l system sorted....

WHY does this download not work, it keeps cutting out at 2 gigs, its taking me ages to get to 2 gigs and then it just stops and tells me download is complete! Is there any reason for this i was using getright this time?!

True, MS have released Vista beta for free. However, as far as I know, they have NOT given anyone permission to re-distribute it, and, apart from that, that particular newgroup frequently does carry pirated software.

Are you using IE6 without SP1 or 2, or was it something elsE? I'm sure i read about d/l's being limited to 2Gb's in IE before a patch was released. Funny i can't find anything on google, so i could be imagining this :S

Vista Beta has always been free.You had to be a paying subscriber of MSDN or Technet to have had access to keys before but there has never been a charge or it
