Gave up with NTL for my email inbox some time ago. However, this problem has also killed my email sending, so I've now configured IIS to send SMTP from my machine. This appears to be working okay.

So it's a :redcard: to NTL email servers completely now!

well im connecting to the mail server now.. but everyone of my accoounts is saying ERR username/password incorrect. :mad:

I can send outgoing mail but anything i send to one of my NTL accounts from hotmail bounces back saying user doesnt exist!!

Can't logon to webmail either or the account management thing on ntlworld, I hope they haven't deleted all my accounts.

Our email wasn't working from Friday morning until yesterday (Saturday) evening (about 10pm?) It was still working this morning but stopped working again an hour or so...

We're in Colchester, Essex.

Bingo again! - Blimey, are you psychic?

The last i heard was that the problem was with the Cisco product development team and ntl is pushing very hard on Cisco's preverbials for a fix.

Sunday evening is one of the peak load times for the mail platform, so things will probably run quite slowly until the load eases with the current problem affecting things.

Sorry i can't help much more - my mail is on there too, and i know just how frustrating it is!

I reckon they cannot handle all the traffic so they are switching on and off different areas , you just have to work out when yours is on. Cisco? I thought he was spaced out on DS9 in the alpha quadrant.
