Perhaps not the best time to renegotiate with this uncertainty.

They'll deny they ever made you such an offer.

If those who complain too soo get it removed from their package - I can see VM not putting it back in unless the customer switches to one of the new line-ups (new cointract).

By the sound of it I don't think demanding a massive discount is going to cut much ice with them, and personally I have no use whatsoever for Maxit, I only had it for TNT sports.

The little bit more includes a rise of RPI +3.9%. every April. I suspect that they might be starting to lose more than a few customers.

I'm beginning to think that too. See how this pans out and use it to your best advantage. You need to know what you're getting if committing for 18 months.

And still broadcasting.

Us punters could do without this knife-edge drama.

For info, did manage to get through to a UK call centre. Late morning seems to be the time. Got a fairly identical to deal/price to the one I'm on, but had to push/reject initial offers, as ever. Desperately tried to get rid of TNT for more of a discount, but that didn't work for some bizarre billing/ deal reason. Still on Maxit too, not Mega.

Ah well done. Was your deal for the full 18 months/length of contract? (obviously with their annoying mid contract hikes on top).
Good tip on time to ring, I always assumed earlier the better but maybe not. I'll find out in 9 days time.

Sounds like it, Mr K seems to have it now whether he wants it or not and mine is still working.
