CNN International for a start.

And you can see why TV only customers might get upset when they were charged 17% more last year and likely 8% more this year and they receive less and less given that VM keeps everything new away from TV-only customers.

"VM keeps everything new away from TV-only customers"

What are you talking about? What is all this new TV content that VM is keeping from you?!

The traditional pay TV market has been in heavy decline for some time, with the number of channels reducing significantly, and there's nothing that VM as a distributor can do about it except try to aggregate content from the streamers, as they are attempting to do.

They could arrange carriage deals for the channels that are missing to try and make up for the channels that closed.

Instead they have put up prices and taken away channels that are still broadcasting from the top pack ie children's channels, Asian channels & TNT Sports.

What missing channels are those?

I'm not aware of any significant pay TV with high value content missing from VM, except for Sky Atlantic (and we're getting many of the major series from that via Sky Showcase now). I am curious what you think we are missing out on.

I sympathise but there isn't much that can be done to bring new services to TV-only customers with legacy Tivo boxes. The boxes are just too old.

You should add TLC HD & QVC. The subs codes for those weren't added last night as they have been present but inactive for months/years, the actual channels didn't arrive at the same time as the subs codes. As TLC +1 and other QVC channels had subscription codes added last night, it makes sense that the main channels will be added with their siblings. So 152 extra services in total (so far).

Just speculating but they could add premium packages to Stream and add the missing Adult / Asian / Sports channels and Baby TV. Other than those, I dread to think. A lot of Test channels don't seem to have been added but they are probably testing features of the DVB-C network and simply not needed on Stream.

TNT Sport Extra channels are specified as unavailable in VM marketing but they have all had TNT Sport pack codes for some time, so perhaps something else that was meant to be added some time ago? The Adult PPNs will have multiple services if run the same way as the DVB-C versions. The landing slates used to advertise the services and act as a gateway to order them plus the off-EPG services carrying the actual content. There are also the PPV channels for Sports events etc. Radio is another section of the EPG with differences on Stream but I can't see the current solution being changed.

Is this just a temporary rebranding of Sky Sports Arena like they did last year, or a new channel?

It a new Channel - Sky are doing tests right now on Astra and Sky have also got a Viaplay Xtra EPG slot of Sky UK Channel 412*.

*No confirmed news on where Sky will launch Sky Sports Tennis.
