Yup. Modern stuff is so obsessed with needlessly flashy bling the core functionality is missing, reduced and regularly inferior.

User interfaces are all wasted screen space, continual scrolling, buttons that are much, much bigger than they need to be, information difficult to read because of the clutter or graphics choices. It just goes on.

Yup.. Dumbed down garbage that doesnt work well.......

I’m not sure I understand. Maybe there was a problem before, but it’s not there now. It picks up new series automatically, whether it’s via recordings or on demand using the watchlist.

Why would you want to gawp at all the series links you’ve set? Why is that important? Surely it’s only so you can see whether you have set a particular programme, but you can do that by selecting the programme and you will see that straight away.

I think there were quite a few niggles for early adopters, but it works very well now. Obviously, it won’t work exactly the same as the TiVos, but it’s a different system with some of the features under copyright. You will get the same problem with any other system.

Was that recently, Itshim? If so, could there have been a reason for it not recording (eg power cut or someone pulling the plug out when it was starting?). Maybe your box needed a reboot at the time.

Nope just didn't pick it up at all ,but the box is very flakey, shuts down at least once a day reboot sets it off again ,agent would be more use if he was a chocolate teapot:shocked:

In other words your box is faulty.

Most of them aren't.

Well, I don’t have the figures, Itshim, but I have the 360 on my V6 box and it works perfectly well.

Have you had a technician look at your box? You shouldn’t have to put up with such poor performance.

When I upgraded to the 360 software and 1 mini box, I got offered a week late to install the mini box and do the upgrade.
