During an urgent hearing before the High Court, the campaigners' lawyers presented an email from an official working in the PPE sourcing team, which reveal concerns about this "high priority" route.

"We are currently drowning in VIP requests and 'high priority' contacts that despite all of our work and best efforts do not either hold the correct certification or do not pass due diligence," the unnamed official wrote.

The email says that an offer that jumped "to the front of the queue" had a "knock on effect to the remaining offers of help".

What part of "especially relating to ventilators" didn't you understand?

How about a bit of politeness with your point scoring?

I can try and help you on this when I'm back from holiday next Thursday. I've been talking about suppliers in my post.

Well, since he hadn’t mentioned ventilators, it seemed you were trying to channel/narrow the conversation, so I was responding to the general point he had raised.

Keeping on topic, it's a fascinating development.

Cummings has fired a few warning shots to BoJo to ensure he is not used as an excuse. But is there more to this than meets the eye? I'm sure the Sunday newspapers will have a view.

They have obviously run out of real news.

Do you think it's fake newsl? Or just not important enough to be newsworthy?

It’s exactly the same story that is in the Daily Mail, including the denial - hope that helps...

BoJo & friends deny BoJo did something wrong - the same people who denied he had an affair with Arcuri when she received funding from the Council he was Mayor of London?

Who is the most honest out of Dominic Cummings and Boris Johnson? I'm stumped. BoJo was sacked for lying and Cummings' Durham Castle trip was unconvincing.

I was referring to the current Boris/Dyson arrangement which did revolve around ventilators.
It is also worth noting they weren't needed after all, the need for ventilators was overestimated and Dyson stood the £20m development costs.

Cummings' Barnard Castle trip was no more than most of us did during lockdown - in one form or another.

That just leaves Boris.
