Already checked, it looks like the mainboard has gone.

EDIT... I meant Herd Drive and not mainboard.

it is working at last. I got the laptop working again due to a faulty memory module and it still had the same problem.

I completely uninstalled the drivers for the wifi card and installed from fresh and that did the trick as before I just updated it over the existing installation.

The only difference I have noticed within the device manager is the it shows a 'virtual' wireless adapter as well as the original it has always showed.

Been running this a few days now with no issues at all so I hope this is the end of all my problems.

I still can't figure out why this happened when using the SH2
