Virgin sell SKY VMTV and hey presto SKY linear channels in HD plus SKY Anytime. Talk Talk make Now TV available and hey presto they finally get access to almost all of SKY's linear SD channels plus SKY Movies and SKY Sports.

So will it be hey presto to SKY Atlantic if Virgin allow Now TV to launch on TiVo?

Why do VM Withhold access to its broadband network?

Because there is no current commercial agreement to open it to another company. They've previously opened it up to AOL but it wasn't successful

I agree, will you ever stop moaning about VM not having all Sky channels or is the needle well and truy stuck?

But just so it's clear,

Virginmedia want access to BT's network to resell ADSL they want all of Sky's tv channels including HD. But they want to with hold access to its cable network from all company's?

Do VM resell sky products? YES

Do VM resell BT Produdts? YES

Do either company resell VM products? No as VM withhold them unfairly.

Do you work for Sky (or an affiliated company) - yes or no?

Just like every other UK ADSL provider then.

At a fair price, yes.

Yes, because it's their network; bought and paid-for mostly through private enterprise. At least, I think that's right. Happy to be corrected on that. Was there any "public" money involved?

Well Sky did buy some TV channels of VM a while ago ;)

Wow, I post here as I'm interested in the topics covered, everything I post is just my opinion. I only post to represent my own personal opinion all views are my own.

I just like talking about tv/bb/phone providers.

You do seem to only post on topics that provide you with the opportunity to deliver pro-Sky propaganda.

Are you Rupert's love child? ;)

Even Rupert's legitimate children have a wider range of interests than promoting Sky while slating their competition. :)

Hi

In fairness we sell Sky Sports below what it costs us in order to deliver fantastic value to our customers. The wholesale prices have increased twice this year, when you take into account the addition of F1.

I can understand why VM have put the price up so much...the input costs have risen a lot as well.
