I'm just hoping that those individuals who spout "we're not allowed to be British in case it offends Muslims" etc etc managed to have a look out of the window over the last few days.

Not that I'm aware of. But Mail and Sun readers are always telling us that we're being 'banned from celebrating Britishness' etc. There are often stories of how someone was 'banned from flying the British flag', all of which turn out to be rubbish.

Well some British are proud to be British. and if it means someone being offended then we'll be British even more.

if somebody doesn't like it, then there's airports where they can go and get on a plane.

To be honest while I think our Queen is a good head of state, I feel that after she passes away, we should become a republic, to do that we would need to hand the Crown Estates to the Royals!

However by the time Liz passes will there be even a UK left to rule?

Thats up to Scotland, still think that William will not be king, you have to also note that even if we become a republic tomorrow and embraced a Irish style Head of State, guess who would take up that role...(the one with 60 years experence as head of state)
