I'm on VIP20 and have just got my latest bill through. Everything is the same as last month apart from the charge for XL TV which has gone up 50p to £25. I don't remember being advised of this increase, can anyone verify it?

Also my current advanced charges are £95.39, when the prices go up in april will my advanced charges go up to £98.54 (current charges + £3.15) or will it be the advertised £95.55?

I've been on VIP from a few months after it was launched.

Sorry didn't realise that... So I'm 50p better off now lol. You'd think they'd get rid of that page esp' as it doesn't say what year.

It doesn't say anything about multi-room boxes so I take it they're not going up?

Extra box rental is going up 90p per box according to the email Virgin sent me.

Re: Virgin media price increase

But I currently pay £25 for XL TV and the price on the VM website is now £30.50 without VM phoneline, I presume that link is only for people with a VM phone line? Anyone clarify? £1 would be fine, but £5.50 is a rip off!

As per this page http://shop.virginmedia.com/digital-tv/tv-size-xl.html

Perhaps VM and Sky should synch their prices for the say time! Both will be putting up prices in due course for sure.

Thats if you have no other services at all.

I'm guessing you have broadband

Re: Virgin media price increase

I have Broadband, but that is £25.25 a month yet £21 online and VM apply a £4.25 discount to my account for having both so my BB is reduced to the real cost, so if things stay as they are my TV will go up £5.50?

No, it will go up £1 as I previously said

Ignore the price of TV XL by itself, it doesn't apply to you.
