Excellent first post, welcome to the forum! :)

If i ordered this online what are the chances it would be a self install?

edit

Looks like it is generally a self install and for £30 i can't complain!

30Mb Offer: Upgrade from 20Mb to 30Mb broadband for no extra monthly fee. A one-off £30 fee applies. Manned installation may be required by a small number of customers however the £40 fee will be waived.

Exciting. However the traffic management pages still haven't been updated :(

Interestingly they don't seem to have listed any exceptions for customers who already have the superhub, it's just 30mb broadband activation. So it looks like the superhub is being offered for free for all customers on 30mb 50mb and 100mb, but those on 20mb will have to pay to upgrade to 30mb.

Just called customer services, and they said i can't have one.

Even though i'm still using a dinosaur modem from when 2mb broadband was the best thing since sliced bread, it makes no difference.

: Just went through to retentions. I mentioned my Modem, and straight away he said i notice you have had the Mototola Surfboard 5100 since 2005. It's pretty antiquated and will probably start having problems with it being old. Then offered to send me a Super Hub.

The normal Customer Services are rubbish. I've noticed it's only retentions who are very good at their job.
