Some pretty awful comments being made on Facebook by fans of other teams including Man United - absolutely sickening. The 96 were people with families, just normal people.

those people are not fans of footballs but the same could be said of Liverpool fans on the anniversary of Munich some of the things they posted were sick why people do that i don't know.

the deaths of so many People should not be made into a joke.

I'm not able to go to Anfield today as I normally would, so I went down last night to pay my respects and to place a cap on the Shankly gates sent to me by a colleague over in Sweden.

Thanks Julian but i missed it :erm:

Its sad that some so-called fans feel the need to speak badly of the dead, but I'm pretty sure nothing any small-minded idiots (including LFC fans!) say or type can hurt the family and friends of the loved ones lost which they still mourn daily and need justice for.

I watched it.

Rafa Benitez was there, he got very emotional when the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

Yes it was very emotional, Benitez obviously has a love of the people and they of him. Even I was moved by it....

Yes we hope so because there is no doubt certain things were covered up.

Some comfort for the families but will anybody actually be bought to account ? Mrs Thatcher certainly owes them an apology, maybe someone can do it on her behalf ?

The Sun's front page tomorrow should be interesting too.

Kelvin Mackenzie also owes an apology, but I fear that Hell will freeze over before he says sorry.

Can't recall being obsessed with Mrs T. ??? I'm afraid someone in Govt. needs to apologise on her behalf. Hope the families can 'move on'.

Re: Hillsborough - 20th anniversary

An inquest condemned many aspects of the way the disaster was handled and criminal charges may be brought against a senior police officer or the force itself.

That's the verdict the families wanted, and that's what they've got.

You continuing to bang on about Margaret Thatcher is in extremely poor taste at this time.
