Oh Great...MORE +1's!!!

Even with a V+ box it's useful to have the +1 channels there. There have been a few times that there have been 3 programmes on that I've wanted to record so having the option to record one of them an hour later on the +1 channel has been handy.

yes I do this a lot too, although I would much rather have a completely new channel to watch.

It is a good idea but I still wonder why no one has launched a +24 instead

licsenging is the main reason i think.

to be honest i rather they lanch a tre on demand channel, where you have access to the channel entire archive and you can choose excately what you want to watch, and they only have 3 hour broadcas slot for new show/programs to watch

Hello Media Boy - Do you have the time to help me with my difficulty that I posted yesterday at 19.35 pm - please. It is a helluva long time since Virgin posted, by mail, a comprehensive list of correct Titles and Channel Numbers - as I am sure you know. At least, with your help, I will again be able to keep up with changes as they happen.

I'm stunned you can find so much on TV you want to watch. I record a couple of things a week (at most) from BBC HD and that's it.

There are frequently clashes of programmes during the week and I not only make full use of the +1 channels but also of my DVD recorder when I can't fit the programmes in on the V+.

A lot of people think there is nothing much on TV, but many people miss much more than they realise. Programmes such as 'Vanished', 'Sleeper Cell', 'Jericho', 'The Kill Point' and so forth are easily overlooked, which is why I don't rely solely on the TV Guide. I buy a good TV listings magazine and study it for about an hour or so when it comes out on Tuesdays, marking up the good programmes on the more obscure channels, and frankly, the results are extremely good.

My daughter was always complaining that there was nothing on until I told her about these programmes and she is extremely pleased - she would have missed them all without my intervention!
