Doc, Yes I do have that disc for the XP PC, so that will be alright then.
Popper, I'm gonna take a look at the link you posted, and then get back to you guys after that.

Went to get the disc from location where I keep all the docs/discs etc associated with my PCs, but OS disc not there. Can only find the Applications disc and the Drivers & Utilities disc. Hoping that I may have put it with other programs somewhere else. Will take a look and report back.

I haven't been able to find an OS disc for Windows XP but if my neighbour friend has his disc at his house could I use his disc?

yeps :) just make sure its an OEM disk ie it has the name of say DELL, Siemens, HP or anything on it ;) then it will work.
