Don't worry about that just rapid flashing indicates a connection. Belkins are a bit hit and miss in my experience. Some have a better wireless than others of the exact same type.

If you think you might want to use the wireless side in the future then you should test it out with the DS lite to check how stable it is now before the 28 days from purchase passes or you will need to faff about sending it back to Belkin under the lifetime warranty (best thing about Belkin IMHO). My first Belkin had a very flakey wireless connection but better range than my current one.

Did you go to the router page at http://192.168.2.1 and setup the security as described a few pages back? If not do that first and let me know if anything needs further explanation or is plain wrong.

My bad, the DS only supports WEP security so you should use that instead of WPA. Select 128-bit WEP check the box below that and then enter a pass phrase that will be used to generate a WEP key. Click apply.

You'll need to write down the numbers+letters that appear in the empty boxes at the top as these need to be entered in the the DS later.

Once that's done logout of the router and turn on the DS.

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc...ds/connect.jsp this might be easier to follow than me trying to take you through it, if you get stuck give a shout here and I'll try to help some more.
