Cheers guys, I will send off by post. One last word, Virgin is supposedly one of the biggest multi media companies yet to contact them you have to use one of the oldest forms of communication, post, the Irony is not lost on me. Thanks again for the help.

Alan.

If you are really hacked off with VM and you desperately wish to leave then (hang on a minute), I'll hold the door open for you.

Si thee.

Wel I jumped ship today and it was seemless, easy and manned by extemly polite and helpfull staff.. By next week I will be able to watch the programmes of my choice at a much cheaper price.

It is very sad that it has come to this , but at the end of the day, the customer is always right.

That, apparently, wasn't true in the relationship between Sky and Virgin Media :D

Very true, but on the lines of the old rhyme, who does what to whom, and when?

I managed to cancel Virgin today by phoning 150 and evenually getting the cancellation ofice. After waiting on the phone for 53 minutes and 11 seconds I finally got to speak to a human being. She did try to pursade me to stay but my mind was made up.

So, just keep hanging on the telephone.

How sad is it that you timed it to the second

That's really strange - everytime I've called CS about things, it's been no more than five minutes.

Thats because your a happy Virgin Media Customer, they can sense on the phone if your annoyed at them and leave you on hold. Last time I phoned them I was left on hold for 57 mins then I disconnected, the Only customer services that come close to virgin Media was Tiny Computers I was left on hold once 3 hours while trying in Vein to get the money back for my Daughter's PC no luck there. So if am I am kept waiting over a certian time on phone now I dissconect.

Supplier = Sky
Customer = Virgin Media

How much simpler could it be?

I guess there's nothing much else to do whilst you're hanging on the phone for almost an hour.

And the profileration of phones these days with a minutes and seconds timer on does kind work against those that like to keep their customers on-hold for too long.
