Actually that's no longer the case (thank the gods).

Obscene publications guidelines have been quietly amended because the CPS is no longer willing to waste time and money prosecuting "obscenity" after they lost several cases and, of course, the advent of the internet means that unless something shown is clearly legal (eg child porn), it's just not worth them trying to get a conviction.

I think the word you are looking for is homophobic, given that it is those who likes eieng erect willy's who consume porn the most and are open about it too.

Interesting side note here: I used to be friends with somone who's brother was on the Obscene publications squad. I made a joke one day about him bring home some of their stuff for a party and was told I wouldn't want to see it as it was far too sick. Note, however, he quite possibly dealt with stuff that is illegal in this country.

In cases where the police and/or customs do sieze illegal porn and prosecute, somebody has to watch it to verify it is porn and it is illegal. This was his job.

and I guess he has to view some pretty sick stuff.

All I want to watch is legal and certified R18 DVDs which, as an adult, I am entitled to watch. I can't go and get it in person so am forced to sue the net to make my purchases of legal material.
