Tonight's offering was:

Salad, Grilled Lamb's chums with Gorgonzola butter, and chips (proper chips: slice potato, deep fry for 6 mins at 160 Celcius, and then a few more minutes at 180 Celcius) :drool: Oh, and a nice bottle of Rioja :)

just cooking some battered sausages i got from tesco's , supposed to be like the one's you get from the chippy , they look nice :drool:

just had to laugh at the last few posts, with battered sausages & chips & McD's etc - on the day this new Govt. white paper comes out, on the health of the nation. I'm not having a go, it just seemed ironic ;)

oh & last night we had deep fried battered scampi, deep fried chips, & beans ( which can contain loads of salt & sugar) :D
