Well, then don't care.

Doesn't change the fact that it was some third party program that you still haven't identified. One wonders why that is; at least you should warn other users where not to go, if not even tell the nice folks that might be hosting the malicious extension.

I have been using firefox for several years, but recently have been giving SeaMonkey a go, and like keithwalton said, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Impressed at the moment, an all-in-one package, and once setup works very well. All my add ons from Firefox work, even the email client was easy to setup. So if you want a package that does it all give it a go.

64-bit FF2, also known as "Bon Echo" can be downloaded from here. Been using it for a while now, and it seems a little snappier - but I think the major advantage is better security against spyware and all that mumbo jumbo.

It's self extracting but doesn't create icons, so you can install it away from your x86 FF and it won't effect it. It'll simply read your normal profile and should load it without any troubles :)
