Hmmm. Where I work, they're a bit protective about the kitchen contents - ever since they banned the movement of hot drinks for health and safety reasons. We get emails - "The milk marked xxxx is for xxxx consupmtion ONLY <random threats>". And people checking CCTV footage. That's how they sussed it was me nicking the milk from the upstairs kitchen - it belongs to the top management. I was striking a blow for the workers :D

That dog walking offer sounds good to me Druch! The paper shop's just across the road, so no hardship there. On third cup now, then into the greenhouse for a bit of the old horticulturals.;)

Quite possibly! Where'd you buy your beer from? Mine was from Asda today. And I noticed we have a new Bargain Booze that used to be Slacks Newsagent. Only noticed it on Monday morning while cycling to work.

Indeed, and Chile is the only remaining place in the world where strains of the original European vine rootstocks from the 19th century are grown. Around that time the European vines were mostly wiped out by the phylloxera virus.

Peter Lerman - Riesling - on offer at £4.49 at Booths (posh Cumbrian Supermarket bit like waitrose).I did have it nicely chilled in the work fridge but got called into work at the restaurant so it has warmed up a little in the car, gave it a blast back in the freezer and I think because it is not too cold the flavour is coming through better. Too chilled and I think it ruins the apple flavours.

Great stuff that. The turkey on the label looks a bit worse for wear, not surprised.

Currently drinking a cold bottle of Baltika no.3 and extremely unimpressed that it seems to have been brewed under licence by Scottish & Newcastle. Therefore tastes nothing like the real stuff (ie. it tastes exactly the same as the rest of the crap they churn out under licence)
