BBC Two’s new 1920s gangster drama series Peaky Blinders will premiere on Thursday September 12th at 9pm.

Peaky Blinders is set in Birmingham in 1919 and follows the extended Shelby family whose many brothers, sisters, cousins and uncles make up the fiercest gang of post-war Birmingham: the ‘Peaky Blinders.’ The gang got their name for their practice of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps, and they make their money from off track betting, protection and robbery.

Absolutely brilliant Den in my opinion , comedy is all about personal preference , so many friends tell me how good Mrs Brown's boys is I tried it and one episode was enough for me absolute garbage in my opinion.

SKY Sports boxing show Ringside, which is usually a SKY Sports exclusive, is on SKY 2 tomorrow night at 11pm, and repeated on Saturday morning at 9am. The show is also listed for next Friday and Saturday too. Good news if you like boxing but don't subscribe to SKY Sports. Not sure if it's a permanent feature however my SKY+ box, and parents V+ box allow a series link.
