My predictions for Wrestlemania tonight:

HBK/Undertaker - got to be Taker, the streak won't end tonight. If it does get stopped it needs to be by someone young and up and coming who needs the exposure. Shawn's been talking about retiring after WM for ages now anyway. Should be match of the year.

Rey/punk - The stipulation of Rey losing his mask is enough to ensure he wins. The fans won't buy the idea of Rey without his mask.

Trips/sheamus - Sheamus' title run was awful, no-one took him seriously. He's good friends with HHH so I reckon Trips won't mind putting him over to try and get him taken seriously. HHH is too over for a loss like this to hurt him.

edge/jericho - Going to be a great match, I see Edge just...um, edging it to win.

showmiz/rap&rock - Truth and Morrison have been turned in to jobbers and I don't see that changing. Showmiz to take it, probably by cheating.

MITB - Reckon it'll be cashed in tonight unsuccessfully.

vince/brett - Talk about a sure thing. If Brett doesn't win I'll eat my own pants.

cena/batista - not even slightly interested. Batista should get it.

10 Diva tag match - who cares? As long as it's kept to under 5 minutes I don't mind who goes over.

There would be a riot if the streak were to be ended tonight.

This will be interesting. I'm sure there's a temptation there to do a worked reprise of Montreal. It'll be interesting to see how they work around Bret's health issues. You don't really want a guy who was put in a wheelchair by a stroke after having his career ended by post concussion syndrome to be taking hits to the head.

How over is Hart with the fans these days?

As much as he was in the 90s. When he made his return back in January the crowd went bananas. WWE have recently banned chair shots to the head as part of their Wellness Policy - and that's a good thing too, I took a chair shot to the head once, how the hell some performers manage it regularly I don't know. Anyway because of this and his other health related issues I don't envisage there being many headshots but as it's a streetfight you're not likely to see any 'wrestling' either. Bret said he won't be wearing his traditional pink and black as that relates to who he was back in the day, not who he is now. So it'll be interesting to see how they play this one.

There was talk of having him interfere in the HBK/Taker match to cost Shawn the match (and his career), thereby evening the 'screwed' score but I'm glad they binned that idea.

Yes, you can only imagine what's left of Mick Foley's brain given the amount of pummelling he's taken throughout the years.

I did see Bret get a huge pop when he came back, was interested in if it was sustained and pleased it has been, he's a different class of star to most of them now.

Not in WWE though. There's an entire generation of fans who've never seen him without it and consider the mask part of him. With someone like Kane it was always a case of "What's he like under the mask" so obviously his was going to come off at some point but with Rey his mask isn't being used to 'hide' anything so to speak.

One of the best WMs I've seen in a long time. The divas match was awful as expected and surprisingly Brett/Vince was pretty awful too but the rest of it was class.

HBk/taker match was the best match i have seen in such a long time, so much emotion, and I loved the ending, what a great ending to WM 26!!

I disagree Bret/VKM match was great. Not so much a match but every chair shoT the hitman gave to VKM I believed Bret meant every single one of them!!! Great emotion!!

Loved how Bret screwed Vince:D

great PPV over all!! Much better than last year

i have only watched a hand ful of WWe shows since last year mainly due to WM25 being so awful!! Might get back into it now!

Chris Kanyon passes.

On April 2, 2010, Kanyon was found dead in his Sunnyside, Queens, New York apartment, due to an apparent overdose of medication. Initial reports indicated a possible suicide.

The PPV offered some tasty matches but they were just ruined

Matches that were just plain rubbish

Hart Dynasty vs Miz & Jericho
Maryse vs Eve Torres
Kofi Kingston vs Drew Mcintyre
R-truth vs Ted Dibase

Swagger Vs Show was just horrible, I assumed this whole DQ Sh** was over in 2009 but seems not =/

Orton vs Edge was ruined by the Legit injury to Orton

Mysterio vs Punk was alright I suppose but so much for a bald punk?

Cena vs Batista saved the day and WWE backsides once again

Sometimes they change channels closer to the time - So hopefully they will move it back to SS 1 ... But think about it.... BT Vision dont get Sky Sports 3 and 4 which means they dont get RAW SMACKDOWN and NXT and SUPERSTARS - So shamefully kind of makes sense that they will shaft the PPV's to SS 3. :(

They do get raw and smackdown. I am taping smackdown at 3pm saturday afternoon on HD2 and Raw (which ok is last weeks) on Monday afternoon at 4pm also on HD2. yes I will wait to see it in HD. :)

All it is says is there's "speculation" they've quit.

Jericho has just signed a new contract but put rumours out he was leaving just to annoy fans (he's a heel, that's what they do). He won't be on tv for a few weeks as his band Fozzy is touring the UK, which is why they're wrote him out of action by selling the 'punt to the head' injury from Randy Orten.

Matt Hardy wants to leave as he's been acting like an idiot but WWE don't want to release him as they're worried about him going to TNA and reforming the Hardy Boys there.

I reffed Awesome Kong's match when she worked for Celtic Wrestling a few years back. Not the kind of woman you'd mess with but backstage she was very sweet.

In other news, HBK had been announced as being in the 2011 Hall of Fame. Other than Ric Flair there has never been a more deserving inductee.
