They used to do it with pre-ordered books, I think that still applies.

This city's "Integrated Transport System" has one again shown that it is, in fact, still a "DISintegrated Transport System".

Windows updates (again).

Gives you 2 options:-
Update and Shut Down
Update and Restart.

They both do the same thing, update and restart. The illusion of choice....

This is a bit of a moan but it has saved my life, I had a pace maker fitted four weeks ago and it was not a good experience , but I am so glad to get it done, Anyone else experience this drama

I have had a pacemaker for some years. The initial implant was OK, soreness didn't last too long and it has helped a great deal. You get checks regularly and then annually, except now this check is via remote monitoring. My pacemaker doesn't allow remote changes so if it needed that would mean a visit to hospital. Replacement is less good than the initial implant, always less neat.

The BBC site seems to switch formatting if you access it from a non UK IP, very irritating.

It is concerning. I use to get intoxicated after a few premix cans now I can't really feel it. The only reason I ask is because the festive holidays are approaching and I'd like to get merry.

Treat yourself to a can of Fosters.. That's about as weak as gnats pee as you can get which I'm sure would get you 'merry'. :drunk: :D
