According to TV Channel Lists, Eleven Sports could be testing 2 HD Channels on the Sky platform.

Anyone can launch a channel onto the Sky EPG so long as they pay the relevant fees.

That is certainly an issue that a lot of people have. You won't get that with the streaming services, though, and you won't have to enter into a contract either.

There is plenty of poor content that one does not want to watch on the streaming services OB and that is a clear unequivocal fact unless you closed your eyes did not notice it.

Half of what's on Netflix and Amazon is content that's already been on linear TV.

Well I think you'd probably find that there's a lot more better choice from the streaming services than there is from what's on offer from the pay TV providers, only my opinion of course, but I do use Amazon and Netflix a lot and find that the quality and choice is miles better.

As much as half? I don't really know if that's the case, even if it is, there's still a lot of quality originals from both Amazon and Netflix.
