Can you record with a Now TV pass? If not it is useless imo

I only fully switched it on just before the FA Cup match on BT started

Curious - how do you "fully" switch on a box, surely its either just on, or off ?

Perhaps he means he brought it out of one of the standby states.

Sleep mode when it's in that it's not 'fully' off

Then it would be worth giving it a proper (power-cycle) reboot.

Does it give an error code when it fails?

I gave it a 2nd full reboot and after a while of waiting the channels came back to life

hahahhahah! Oh fabulous please let this happen and they close down. Imagine la liga and serie A having to go with the begging bowl to either BT or Sky after their disloyalty to the companies and their fanbase in this country.

Please let it happen!

"hi sky you know those 20 odd years we were with you but then turned our back to an inexperienced new streaming service in the UK....would you like to bid your original offer again?"

Sky and BT will probably bid lower than they originally did as well to really teach them a lesson
