Here is the video. People can decide for themselves but I suspect those who like him will say it's a normal salute and those who will say it's a Nazi one. I think the 1st one he does you can say it's not quite obvious enough to say, a Nazi salute tends to be straight in front of you. The 2nd one looks a lot worse though.

Read Damien's post. It's the second salute that's questionable. Your meme is about the first salute.

And no, giving a Nazi salute does not make you a Nazi. But it crosses the boundaries of publicly acceptable behaviour in many countries.

I don't know if he is a Nazi or not and I don't care because we don't know what his thinking is.

I suspect he either did it by accident or to wind people up. He seems to like stirring things up and doing a 'sort of/maybe' Nazi salute for everyone to argue about on inauguration day seems like the kind of thing he would do.

He is a very strange guy.

Yes. And if it goose steps like a Nazi, yells like a Nazi and salutes like a Nazi, it’s a Nazi. Musk on the other hand does none of those things, and tbh his hand/arm gesture in that photo looks more like a Superman reference than an Aryan one. A Nazi salute is straight back, eyes front, arm sharply up and back down. I believe the heel click is optional.

Wasn't the nazi salute based on the Roman salute, in fact iirc fascism is based on Rome and it's emperors
