I don't know why they don't allow it, I tether from a 3g/4g device and it works fine.

Its not that simple ,

Sky makes around £6 billion in revenue annually from Sky Retail subscriptions as opposed to £396 million on wholesale subscriptions and £440 million in ad revenue. The retail subscriptions are far greater than both wholesale and advertising combined.

I sent a tweet to Notts TV to ask for the latest on them launching on Virgin Media and they replied that they will be on channel 159.

They launch on Tuesday 27th May

I need to do some work on what local TV Channels will/may launch on Virgin Media and Smallworld.

The latest I have on Notts TV is - still in talks with Virgin Media.

I don't think Sky would agree with that! Their precious USP (Sky Atlantic) has been the dominant force in their thinking since the VM channels were sold to them!

One of my sources seems to think a tv anytime app is coming soon to xboxone/360, ps3/4 and wiiu.
