Apparently my Blue badge renewal has been processed and it should be with me shortly.

They are now £10 - worth every penny I think.

Definitely dilli, although I think you should get it for free IMHO.

Sun is out and so is the washing, funny how the simple things in life can make you smile :)

What a lovely surprise I've just had, just received a call from my brother in law and he will be at my house in 30 minutes. We don't get to see him much as he lives in Cleethorpes. Hubby will be pleased to see his big bro, I need to go now and do some serious housework :Sprint:

Just found out I've been booked as the compere for an entertainment show at Old Trafford next year. Pretty much excited at that :)

Well I've almost finished my porch and thought it was time for a picture. I'm very happy with the results even though I say so myself. Of course I've learned a few things along the way and would tackle certain aspects differently but I'm a hell of a lot better with a silicone gun now than I ever was before I started this. :)

That looks very smart Osem. I bet you will feel the difference if we get a cold winter.

Thanks Jo. :)

I'm so well insulated I don't feel the cold too much but Mrs Osem is the complete opposite and it was she who finally cajoled me into getting on with it. Now it's done I'll be thinking about changing the old front door I've always hated and replacing all the old white paintwork surrounding it with stained wood to match the porch. That's probably a job for next year though...

That looks really good Osem, and may I say what a grand job you have done there :)

Shame you live in Scotland, got some jobs that need doing and just cannot be bothered doing. Oh well. Must find the energy to do it, one job I must do before that dreaded event in December beginning with C.
