Guess I am a fool then.

If we can't get a draw at home then we don't deserve to go through.

Who are about the only decent premiership team that you have played this season - you lost.

So your saying Benfica are a pushover as you have admitted already that they are "no biggie" - i just want it on record.

I am very confident that we won't get beaten by Benfica.

Tbh I never expected the walk in the park some suggested, when have Celtic ever been pushovers, what I didn't expect though was Gary Neville's ability to see the future, apparently before Saha took the penalty, he went up to Neil Lennon and said 'his head has gone, he'll miss this' quite prophetic ;)

yeah i've just read that too.. why Rooney didn't take it i'll never know

i've never liked left footers taking pens they just never seem to score as many don't know why

think that says alot about the team we have.. we had Rooney and Saha and maybe Ronaldo apart from that no real pen takers on the field

Doesnt Saha shoot hard and accurately (usually) with both feet. I've noticed he scores some cracking goals with his right foot, and takes penalties with his left.

Couple of people in work were saying that RVN would have scored it. I assumed they didn't see the highlights of the Real V Lyon game.

Hmmm didn't he actually continue his fine scoring record for Madrid in that match though :)

He also missed a last minute pen to win the game.

He also scored four in a match the other week, I doubt Saha has ever done that, even when he was playing for his school side

Doesn't that just sum them up? RVN is a goalscorer and thats it. Saha offers something different. He already has more assists in the premiership this season the RVN had in the whole of last season.

sure he may offer something different but if Ronney and Saha can't score in a game then who will be bring on.. O'Shea ? yes he's a match winner isn't he

we have far too small a squad and outside the first XI there is very little depth and no real attackers to bring on

i don't rate Richardson at all and Ole is too old and been out for too long

Trouble with that is you need some one to be sticking the ball in the back of the net to, personally I prefer goal scorers, they win you more matches than these flair players, I was listening to 5 Live the other night and the commentator said that RVN was sold because Rooney didn't play well with him, surely that say's more about Rooney's ability, world class players should be able to perform who ever they are playing with

And Man Utd have scored the most goals in the league this season. 6 more than the second most.

I thought it was more down to Fergie wanting RVN to add more to his game and then being angry at RVN's attitude when dropped.

Totally agree

Didn't score any last night though, despite having most of the play, certainly in the first half.

Add more to his game, he scores goals, surely that's what he was bought for, not his tracking back or ability to spray 40 yard passes about. As for his attitude, well if the story's are true, it's a pretty poor professional that has attitude problems imo
