I'm not a whisky drinker, but would like to as I had a Scottish Granddad.

I never like the taste, but I bought a small batch whisky called "Monkey Shoulder", he got me to try it and I liked it.

So bought a bottle to drink on my birthday and hopefully celebrate JCs resignation.

Think he's just being mean to you old chap. However a vegetarian diet sounds right up you street, and alcohol is good for you in moderation (its the last bit I fall down on).
Anyhow cheers and Merry Xmas anyway, even if it is a load of humbug :)

You obviously are not of the One True Faith* - abstaining from alcohol would be blasphemous.
