Although I'm not a cricket fan I agree with you. Showing the same program on 3 different channels is rediculous.

Not enough live content at that present time to put on three different channels so they pad out the same live content on several channels.

I am well aware of that which makes it all more surprising the Somerset game which was due to be broadcast yesterday (but was rained off) wasn't put on one of those 3 channels.

Yes l find that quite astonishing really as all they had was one keep all their main staff down there for another day and two make sure they told the supporters that turned up for the rained off match that their tickets were totally applicable for the following day.

Oh, the game was played to day - just not televised. Most bizarre really.

Sky customers are getting moved over to the Sky Sports HD channels from October 1st those who don't currently subscribe to them will see a £2 a month bill increase

This could potentially be the beginning of the end for Sky Sports in SD

Well about time, they've milked this HD charge for long enough in my opinion.

Doesn't sound like they're getting rid of the HD charge just removing its "name" and putting everyones bill up instead!

HD charge for sports used to be £10 + vat charge will now be £2 + vat so those that were on HD will get a reduction.

Question is, will this reduction apply to virgin customers with sky sports?

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news

So if you buy a Premier Sports subscription through Sky TV, for a tenner - you also get access to their internet player and 7 days worth of Sports video on demand.

If you buy the same tv subscription through VirginMedia, for a tenner, you don't.

Utter crap again.
