You have to wonder what else is said in these WhatsApp groups amongst all MPs. The rule of thumb is to think that anything you say in an e-mail or WhatsApp group will be leaked.

If he put those comments in an email to Trump, he would probably be given a job! :D

Still shouldn't have that sort of opinion of those that didn't vote Labour or don't agree with certain policies. No doubt many Labour voters also have concerns about bin collections.

Labour suspends 11 councillors over WhatsApp scandal

The Labour Party has suspended 11 of its councillors over their membership of a WhatsApp group that led to a minister being sacked from the frontbench.

It is understood most of the councillors are part of Tameside Council while two are members of Stockport Council.

The move comes after the party sacked health minister Andrew Gwynne - whose wife Alison is now understood to have also been suspended - over messages he reportedly posted in the group.

Mr Gwynne's sacking was followed by the party suspending Burnley MP Oliver Ryan for comments made in the WhatsApp group.

Won't they also need to be dismissed for joining the group? I mean you've got to be squeaky clean.

But….evil Tories…..

So much better that kind benevolent Labour are in charge now.

And he was proven to be kind, as he wished a pensioner to die, which is Labour core policy either through Hypothermia or state sponsored suicide. You don’t generosity like that right of centre!

They each deserved to be suspended.

But remember, all politicians are corrupt.

It's not a core or uncore Labour policy. They just means tested the winter fuel allowance. And there's no state-sponsored suicide either.

Labour doesn't need these invented crimes to look bad. It's doing this quite nicely with the WhatsApp messages. ;)

There's some good eggs out there. The faults of those suspended cannot be diminished by tarring every politician with the same brush.

Dammit I wish I’d thought of that response on here between 2010 and 2024.

I actually know a Tory MP, Miriam Davies. She resigned her position due to Boris’ bullshitting so she’s one of that very rare breed, a Conservative MP with morals and standards. Of course, I knew her before she got in to politics (we worked together at the radio station), she was very nice back then and she’s lovely now as long as politics is not discussed. She is indeed a good egg, surrounded by a pile of rotten festering ones.

Kier Starmer’s Labour have made it very evident that they only care for those that vote for them.

Farmers, OAPs, businesses, schools ……….bad

Pakistani heritage paedophile rape gangs ………good.

Re: Starmer’s chronicles

Given the number of seats around Birmingham and northwest England where Labour relies on a Muslim block-vote, you can see their problem.

They lost a voting block (ex-heavy industry working class) in central Scotland 10 years ago, which exposed how horribly reliant they are on client groups for their support.
