Re: Football Season 2010/2011
TWO points state, One l know that there great Bill Nic is dead, BUT, under his realm, if a striker didn't score after so many games, they would be dropped, this for some unkown reason Harry wants to keep Crouch playing, and yet Pav is on the bench, doesn't make sense.
On the Hughton saga, this is typical of Ashley, he doesn't know what is good for him, the fans like him, but after the game at the weekend, Ashley felt he needed someone else, the only way back now is for toonfans to get back against Ashley, in the only way how - don't go to the game in protest. |
Re: Football Season 2010/2011
I think he has been wanting to do this for a while, however his results were decent enough to make it difficult. Winning 5 - 1 against Sunderland, winning away at Arsenal. Since then he has gone 5 games without a win, one of them a draw against Chelsea, but superficially the 5 game streak serves as a excuse for Ashley.
Shambles of a decision. I don't think it further needs saying how absurd this firing is. |

Apparently Martin Jol has left Ajax and is rumoured to be the new Newcastle manager.
Would be gutted to see him at another Premier League club. |

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Either Liverpool are over-achieving and Hodgson-for-Ingerlund is doing a sterling job or the side that Senor Benitez left behind wasn't really that bad after all. Typically, according to some of our fine upstanding media organisations it's the former, extremely misguided opinion which seems to prevail having just thrown something hard and heavy at the radio. Please someone save us from the cretins on our tv and radio who masquerade as football journalists and failed manag.... I mean pundits.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Once again I have no commentary watching the United game on Sky HD2 via Virgin Media.
All of the background sound, crowd etc is there just no commentary. Switch to Sky Sports 2 and the commentary is there. Soooo, is it really just me? Both games on 'Super Sunday' were the same and yet when I had a quick check later that evening as the games were being replayed the commentary was there on the HD channel. Jim. PS. Carrick is a buffoon. |
