League Two clubs vote to end their season but League One teams fail to make a decision until Monday at the earliest.

After an indicative vote by the clubs, the table is set to be decided using a weighted points-per-game method, while the play-offs would be played as usual.
Quote:

It is understood League Two clubs want to use a weighted points-per-game system to finalise the table, which takes into account the average points won both home and away.

That method is intended to remove any bias towards sides who have played more home games than their rivals.

Watched a bit of it, two well taken goals but just not the same without the crowd. Also noticed one or two still spitting out.

Would be hard for the refs to police but a bit of retrospective punishment using video evidence may help to concentrate minds.

It happened again 2 minutes ago as yes only a retrospective punishment will concentrate minds as its pretty impossible to police for the refs during the match

Just need to wait to see if anything bad comes back now having hosted games. I'm sure the Premier League will be taking note.

Indeed basically the Bundesliga are the guinea pigs and whatever transpires there the other leagues will be watching very closely.

Now the first batch of Bundesliga games have finished the testing of everybody at the stadiums will commence so lets hope that goes well..

Interesting, looks like there are proposals for Division 2 and the National League to merge. There would be 2 divisions League 2 North and League 2 South.
Makes sense, bigger local derby crowds and less travel costs.

It might be for similar reasons Den, post a national crisis and funds are short with clubs struggling to survive.

The richer echelons of the football pyramid should help them more in the next couple of years.

Believe when I see it Den. Some clubs will go out of business in the next few months unless something radical is done. The Premiership can survive on TV money, the rest will struggle.

l just don't think regionalisation will be the great panacea that will suddenly cure everything in the lower leagues Mr K.
