Had to go into Grimsby so on my way back i got some fish and chips £4.60 gone up 20p in the last month, it was nice and took some eating, lots of it.

Last night I slow-roasted a half shoulder of lamb (the fillet was removed and frozen) and served it with a three-bean tagine and flatbread. I did some halloumi for my daughter.

£2.09 for 2 packs of "cooking bacon" was actually 9 thick bacon chops. So I served them with canned tomatoes and baked beans.
