"A good husband is one that can provide more space than needed for his wife to store things".

I was a "good" husband as I built masses of storage space.

But now almost every surface has things piled up with all sorts.

:(:(:(:(:(

Saw the van at the branch today , sorry didn't think to ask. Lloyds is now heath plus , left them because of poor service but apparently they also deliver, or did when I was with them

8 large bags of clothes and stuff to Cats Protection a short while back. But the piles are still there.

Still no sign of my new tablet from O2. 7 days now. They still won't give a reason for the delay.

However after searching I found that the GXO distribution hub they use had an Ammonia gas leak on the 1st December and the premises is still shut. Also affected VM and Giff Gaff as well as Whithead.

Still extremely frustrating that O2 haven't and seemingly will not confirm this.

Despite Wales NHS being repeatedly told to get its act together and stop making people wait by using a block-appointment system, they are still at it.

The missus had a 2:15 appointment for a 5-minute consultation in a hospital clinic. She had to wait 45 minutes to be seen, and then THREE HOURS for her 5-minute treatment.

I’ve never heard of anyone telling them that so I asked my cousin who deals with appointment-booking at Abertawe Bro Morgannwg, she’s never heard of it either

It became the standard in their Diabetic clinics a long while back. Book a small crowd in for 9am, and hope to clear that lot before the next batch arrived at 1pm.

That caused complaints, so they just moved to smaller groups arriving on the hour, every hour, throughout the day.

Attempts to hide the practice were made, but to those stuck in those groups, it was obvious that it was, and is, still happening.

As a type 2 Diabetic I’ve not experienced that at all

Maybe just your Health Borough?

Certainly sounds like a Health Borough issue than across the board in the NHS.

I think in a lot of cases they are too busy to remember sometimes patients are human beings with human frailties. A friend of mine was admitted Friday in pain. They suspected an infection and found an infarction in one of his kidneys. This was all found on Friday. They said they would treat the infection as sepsis just in case as he has a mechanical heart valve. Since then he has been poked and prodded had scans and all sorts but has been told nothing all the time anxious about what was causing the infection and what was going on. Today he basically insisted someone come and talk to him about it and they finally did but the consultant did not seem happy about it. They still do not know what is causing the infection but think it is not his heart valve. Imagine 5 days with that anxiety and not being told anything? That would drive me insane

Yes, we went to Beefeater on Sunday (Whitbread) and they were short on many items due to the hub being closed.
