Re: What are you eating now?
Lots of cooking over the past few weeks.
Christmas day we cooked a meal for church people alone over Christmas. I smoked a leg of pork overnight, then crisped up in the rather nice ovens at church served with sweet potato crisps, roast baby potatoes, sweet corn, peas and a Caribbean macaroni cheese pie. We did some chicken legs in a sticky, citrus sauce. Various puds. Sunday I roasted a haunch of venison with all the trimmings. New Year eve I did two chicken curries; Thai yellow and Nepalese style hot. Last night I slow cooked a smoked, bacon hock with white beans, cider and a bit of tomato. Served with crusty bread. |

I didn't eat it all. Late night feast forthcoming  |
