They left because they got fed up of the lack of depth to actually win big things. And now theres an opportunity to add real depth it doesn't interest Arsenal.

I tend to agree, Fab would have been a good buy, if only to add quality

It's horrible the prospect of Fabregas going to Chelsea. Arsenal better spend well in the positions we do need. If so, then fine, an attacking midfielder isn't what we need. But if we don't....
