And the communication is not clear, it all depends on how your reading it, hence why some people are finding it difficult why NTL used near future when they could have said by the end of june. Quote:
I bolded your comment to highlight something of a grey area....... yes they will not be excluded, but it still does not say that they will be co,pleted by the end of june, does it? this is what I was trying to get clarification on, thats all. God I wish I never asked now. but this forum did pride itself on helping people with NTL and Telewest questions, when I first started here, but now I am not so sure...... ik |
Re: New Speeds - June 1st
Apologies, but can someone tell me what the username and password is for NTL's 250 modem?

It's no wonder people are suspicious of NTL's intentions when they use weasel words... |
Re: New Speeds - June 1st
Its not weasel words, just some people looking into things a bit to deeply and putting 2 & 2 together and making 5.

Re: New Speeds - June 1st
Here's a question. On 10meg I only ever got around 3-4 meg speed at best. I switched down to 2meg (in the thinking it was already 4meg) and now get around 1meg download speed. I am going to end up with roughly 2 meg when 4meg is introduced where I live?
It seems crazy as I would have expected that by switching down from 10 meg to 4meg, that I'd still get the 4meg I was getting while on 10meg. Does that make sense? But it seems that proportionally I am getting 50% of what the supposed speed is no matter what tier I am on. Can that be right? |

I still believe in my comments about the pride of the site. your replys to my posts give me this belief. (sorry but they just did, sorry if this offends you) I find your comment about impressing you seems so much like a parent showing disgust to a child, I am sorry but I could not care less how impressed you were...... I was trying to get some info, which eventually I did get some sort of info. I was surprised at the tone of your replys, but I never said anything about that, did I? after reading back before posting this, I find that you looked into my posts deeper than I have. I never had a go at you (as said earlier), I was asking for the majority of the NTLHome 100 & 120 modem customers, which includes me, because there was not a straight enough answer for them. Quote:
in the near future is not an answer, it is something you tell your girlfriend to put off getting hitched, but she will be looking for a reall answer (sorry this analogy was crap, but you get my drift). ik |
