To his credit, he's talking about the issue and denying the claims but says he can't comment more on his lawyers' advice. He talks about dark forces trying to bring GB News down.

Thanks for going through watching saving me from poisoning my eyeballs. Do let us know if there’s any other highlights.

At least we know whoever is responsible for reputation management at the station knows where their reputation is.

Well GB News is keeping him on and letting him use the show to go after the accusers so either The Byline Times are in trouble or GB News are. GB News must be confident he is in the clear.

Or plain incompetent.

Yeah, I actually agree with him that due process should be followed and he shouldn't be canceled until more substantive evidence has come out but where was this stance with Huw Edwards? GB News loved that story. And as Hugh Points out above where was his concern when people were going after Schofield?

What a hypocrite.

If HE makes it back on the Beeb he should nick that monologue.

Regrets, I’ve had a few, but then again, too few to mention

Perhaps Dan suffers from depression, no doubt Alastair Campbell will support him, along with Soper and Peston. So no worries then.

A psychological evaluation is probably appropriate to be fair. That monologue was deranged.

To be honest, most of his monologues fit that description. ;)

Yes, I felt this was one of the least convincing bits of the monologue. If he felt so strongly about the Hugh Edwards situation, keeping quiet did not help Edwards. He should have taken a stand. Virtue-signalling by saying he did not comment on the Edwards story is very weak.
