Re: Football Season 2016/2017
Can we talk about Wenger and the future of Arsenal with it's loyal fans after last night?
Obviously alerting Damien to come in. I feel like after last night, there's never been more uncertainty around Arsene Wenger and this comes about having watched this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ps97etOjV_k extremely NSFW language. I wouldn't question it normally but these are obviously not the armchair type fans. |
Re: Football Season 2016/2017
I think those fans are extremely out of order. That's is not a balanced reaction to last night, it's not a balanced reaction to football in general, and people need to get a sense of perspective. Even if we weren't talking about one of the best, if not the best, managers in Arsenal's history that video is wrong. I don't like the reactionary traits of Arsenal Fan TV. It's an internet comments section made live. I also hate the ways fans are lifted onto some sort of untouchable guardians of football no matter how nutty their rants are.
At the same time I do think Wenger should leave at the end of the season. Announce it ahead of time as well so that the vast majority of the fans can get behind him and the team for the rest of the reason. People like that guy in the video will still abuse him but most fans will not. |

Well that game won't live long in the memory, still a 3-0 win when playing as badly as that, the gods are smiling on us for once. Stuffy free kick, good work from Rashford for second and a very dubious penalty. Possibly the first one awarded at OT this season and there have been three or four much clearer ones than that not given .

Upset for a mate of mine who is a big Burnley fan but so glad that waste of space Barton has been knocked out. Just a pity Rhead didn't really stick one on him. :(

Re: Football Season 2016/2017
Leicester City are rotten, there's taking advantage of the top clubs doing abysmal last year then there's this. :erm:
Losing to a league one side with ten men. |

Premier League title or not, it will be remarkable for Claudio to still be at Leicester after Monday.

Re: Football Season 2016/2017
Watching a clip of Sunday Supplement and the commentary is so poor. It's really 'down the pub' stuff, very little original insight. They're listing possible managers for Arsenal and talking about a manager's team have a good 'passing style' as if that means anything at all.

Spurs are certain to break an Arsenal record today, they have now gone 3,283 days without winning a trophy beating the Gunners record from 2005 to 2014.:D
