I think the players need to move to where they can play football rather than think they've made it and sit on the bench at a big club. You only have a certain amount of years as a footballer and you need to take each one. The lack of ambition (in terms of achievement rather than money) is a problem. Too many players are happy to play bit-roles at a bigger club for bigger money then actually play football elsewhere, especially abroad.

Even at lesser clubs some are unprofessional it seems.

Baloney, it's a recent phenomenon that players had to be playing for a top club, it didn't matter in '66 or '90 who people played for and both those teams did a lot better than this rabble.

If that is the case, why would they choose Liverpool? One season does not a swallow make (ok..paraphrased, but someone is swallowing a lot, to believe Liverpool is top club)

And youth? Is that why Liverpool took lambert? To give youth a chance? My granny (if alive bless her) would happily play for liverpool, if your team views "youth"with such a wide range of age :D

Indeed one swallow does not make a summer as does not winning the PL for two of the last three years does not make Man City the equal of their bigger neighbours.;):D

Liverpool have given youth far more of a chance then that non English side called Man City.:)

I deleted my reply, the more I looked at your original post the less I understood what you were trying to say. :D

Just read your post again and realise you have one to many 'does nots' in there., it reads better without the last 'does not' ;)

Having seen hundreds of live games in the Colombian domestic league over the last four years, JF Quintero ranks as the most impressive.

Not another bloody attacking midfielder. Where are they all going to play?! That better be a nonsense story.

Maybe Cazorla is leaving but something has to happen because spending £18 million or whatever on our strongest position and the position in which we already have the most depth would be mad.

Can you imagine if Pod was replaced with Reus!!!!!!!! Its a shame Reus will most probably end up at Bayern Munich :(
