Cable Forum - Football Season 2011/12

Mancini loves defensive players, he was annoyed after the Tottenham game because they conceded a goal. He's going all out this season. To be honest I'm not surprised he's signed him just for the sake of an extra body.

Another bid for Cahill from Arsenal has been rejected.

Mertesacker is leaving on a jetplane to London for a medical. I not sure about getting two center backs unless he wants to play Vermaelen (aka the Verminator) on the left....

I'd be incredibly annoyed if Tommy was to play left back which just kills off his talent!

Keep your mind open Damien, theres a lot of smoke around but it seems like more than what was quoted is incoming. I'm expecting 2 center backs. I just hope we don't go and buy Alex and then see Chelsea buy Cahill!

Hopefully it wont come to that. Cahill seems set for an Arsenal move. He should get a message soon and force a move. Tapping up? blame twitter.

Indeed. I was just making the point because 1 flaw and the player is dubbed as a flop. We don't know how he'll do and any way, Squillaci looks as though he's on his way out so having this giant as depth isn't all bad.
