when I plug in my superhub will it automatically go on the 30mbit speeds?

my modem right now is still on 20mbit.

I think they meant their price, not the service. ;)

Same here, but I'm guessing it won't get the 30mbit config file until the servers detect the presence of a docsis3.0 capable modem.

Can a passing mod please put the upgrade link on the first post to make it easier for everyone. :)

If you fill in the form online do they just process the upgrade, or will then send and email asking you to call them like they normally do. Defeating the whole object of upgrading online.

Seen on the existing customer offer page that they are now waiving activation and installation payments on the 50Mb package.......If I'm going to pay £30 activation anyway for the 30Mb package why not save on this payment and it will pay for 6 months of the price increase for the 50Mb package......

Question is now do I really want 50Mb?????

I'd hang on. 30mb will probably be getting a free upgrade to 50mb anyway.

*runs*

No menus on that 0800 number, sweet, short conversation, superhub being delivered sometime Thursday by UPS and apparently my bills £1.50p/m cheaper afterwards to boot :)

Did they say it was a 12 month contract like they did with me?

Re: 20 Mb/s to 30Mb/s free upgrade

Ok - quick update. Called retentions again and they said that if I wanted to upgrade to 50mb it would cost more as I'm on a deal even though they're charging new customers the same for 50mb as what they were charging for 20mb yesterday. But the good news is that systems are just starting to be upgraded for 30mb and it should be completed by the end of the week. So next Monday, I'll be checking again.
